Note from colleague who retired from SETMA

When he joined SETMA after a long career elsewhere, he intended to work for only two years but stayed twelve. Six months after he was with SETMA, he said, “Larry, I have said awful things about you, but after working here, I know that none of them are true.” We have become good friends.

The following is a note he sent after having lunch with Carolyn and me at Pappedeaux’s where we dine every Friday. This time, we also were joined by three other friends.

“Just a note to express to you by enjoyment of being with you for lunch today. I am very flattered that you could find the time for me. The lunch was excellent â€“ the desert awesome.

“I am so proud for both of you. Your accomplishment in your lives is already legendary. And your example for all who know you is inspiring.

“Thank you also for your prayers and concern for dear Ben. (If you don’t hear form me, you can assume his press is in a positive direction)
