The difficulty in transforming our society to realize functionally the societal benefits of the structural changes in the elimination of segregation, of the legal prohibitions to ethnic equality and of positive and healthy personal, ethnic interactions, will look different in different groups.
In health care, the elimination of non-systemic but real residual functional prejudice will include the addressing of and resolving of ethnic disparities in healthcare delivery.
This will not be done with a government program but by attention and activity by all healthcare providers.
