Welcome

Dr. Robert Hromas
New Dean, UT Health San Antonio
Long School of Medicine

As a 1973 graduate of UT Health San Antonio Long School of Medicine, I would like to extend you an unofficial but sincere and enthusiastic welcome to San Antonio.

Below are three links.  The first two give a history of the early years of our school and of our first Dean, Dr. Carter Pannill.   The third is the announcement of The Aesculapian Laureate Society initiated by Dr. Henrich, who came to San Antonio as Dean and became the President.  The fourth is a brief introduction to my practice in Beaumont Texas.

I look forward to knowing you and look forward to your tenure as our Dean.

Response From Our New Dean

Welcome

Wow, great background, thanks!

UT Health San Antonio has always been a place where anything is possible, where innovation was more unique because people were not afraid to dream beyond the horizon, beyond what they could see. I am so excited to join the team, and to help the school reach new heights!

Thanks for reaching out, hope to meet you at the next  Aesculapian Laureate Society meeting. Just don’t ask me to try to pronounce that fast three times...ha!
