Dear Larry:
I want to express my gratitude and appreciation for your multiple presentations on behalf of the North Idaho Health Network. Your dedication and passion were apparent to all who had the good fortune to hear the story SETMA’s groundbreaking success.
I personally valued your insight as to how to transition physicians from the historical preference for analog narrative to the incredibly more valuable digital format.
I know that the Board and administrative leadership of the NIHN valued your presence. You provided inspiration, and direction as they pursue creating an HIE in support of clinical integration and making the medical home concept a reality in North Idaho.
Larry, you and your colleagues at SETMA are leading the way into the digital age, demonstrating for all who will open their minds the benefits of actively engaging the patient in efforts to support health maintenance, disease management, and the applications of best practice.
Many others talk a good game, but few others have put into practice with such demonstrated success the attainable possibilities reflective of effective, efficient, appropriate, and patient friendly healthcare. None of the other few are self-funded and/or representative of providers independent of insurers.
I know the audience was energized to see how providers can “do well while doing good!”
With respect for your heart, energy, and leadership,
