In response to your question about Atlas-MD. I offer the following

I had never heard of this but did a bit of research and discovered what I suspected. This is another brand name for Concierge Medicine. I think Paul and I have a different opinion about this form of medicine. I think it is not a good thing. It basically excludes those who cannot afford rather large fees and those who have very great needs. No one on Medicaid in the USA could afford it. Most people on Medicare could not afford it.
The link above is to a series of questions and answers about a practice which has adopted this practice. The Atlas-MD website is very thin and the uTube of their video shows 25 visits in the past six months.
My counsel would be to avoid it but I do understand that I am somewhat in the minority. I think the promise made by Atlas in their video is false and will not be the case. The following article gives my philosophy and would never be a part of Atlas or Concierge medicine.
