Hi MDman,

This afternoon I read the material (and delighted in the pictures) of the honor bestowed on Carolyn and you by the Aesculapian Laureate Society. You did something better than raise the bar to new heights; you lifted the bar in a new way, one that invites others to follow.

Again I read the emails. "Steady as she goes," a line I've heard spoken in movies by a ship's captain; it seems to be appropriate here.

Your manual on SETMA's first nine years reminds me that more than once I have invited the Sunday class I teach to go to SETMA.com. Having a gigantic and detailed account of how to assist people to investigate one's own medical issues is an enormous help. In "My Fair Lady" the two male leads sing "You did it." to one another -- while the greater praise was due to Lisa. The praise for SETMA's records truly belongs to you.

In coming days I plan to read "Make Your Bed."
