Golden Triangle Physical Therapy (GTPT) is an active part of Southeast Texas Medial Associates, LLP. GTPT is constantly updating and upgrading its services. Fully integrated with SETMA's electronic patient records and management, the PT department is an integral part of the treatment of many chronic and potentially debilitating conditions including rehabilitation of strokes, lung and heart disease. GTPT is qualified and equipped to perform cardiopulmonary rehabilitation, as well as work hardening and disability evaluations.

The Director of GTPT, Miles Sikes earned a Doctorate in Physical Therapy and all GTPT therapists have Masters Degrees. Physical Therapist with their training and experience are qualified to evaluate and treat effectively most orthopedic, neurological, pulmonary and cardiac diseases in all age groups. Our physical therapy facility is well staffed and utilizes the newest, cutting-edge rehabilitation equipment available.

In addition to traditional physical and occupational therapy, our clinic also provides:
  1. aquatic therapy,
  2. wound care,
  3. diabetic foot examinations and treatments,
  4. hand therapy,
  5. wheelchair evaluations and
  6. massage therapy from licensed massage therapists.
GTPT is proud to be the only physical therapy department in South East Texas to provide musculoskeletal sonographic imaging, a fast, accurate and cost effective way of diagnosing shoulder conditions.

In addition to working closely with all SETMA providers and many other local physicians and to better provide for our rehabilitation patients, GTPT enjoys a close working relationship with SETMA's dietitian and nutritionist as well as with Medi Home Health, Hospice of Texas and PRN Medical supply.

The staff of Golden Triangle Physical Therapy welcomes referrals from all healthcare professionals, as GTPT is licensed and certified to treat Medicare patients as well as other private insurance beneficiaries.
